If you remember “The Bob Newhart Show”, then you remember Suzanne Pleshette who play Bob’s wife on the show. Her husky-voiced and sarcastic wit made her memorable. Well, Suzanne died at age 70 of respiratory failure Saturday evening
About a year ago her last husband Tom Poston, who co-starred on “Newhart” another Bob Newhart show died at the age of 85. Poston also co-starred on “Mork and Mindy”.
Last Wednesday night, Suzanne Pleshette made a rare public appearance for a 35th-anniversary tribute to "The Bob Newhart Show". Suzanne showed that after a year of serious personal and health matters had not dampened her fiery personality.
I want to say a fond farewell to Suzanne Pleshette and hope her and Tom Poston have re-united. And that says it all.
