Here is a guy with some big balls. Tomas Delgado, a businessman was driving his Audi A8 100mph when he hit and killed Enaitz Iriondo who was riding his bicycle at the time. Iriondo was only 17 years old.
Delgado’s insurance company paid Iriondo's parents $48,500 in compensation for their son's death. Delgado is now suing to recover $29,400 in damages to his car and car rental costs. I guess the claim is that Iriondo was not wearing reflective clothing or a helmet. Delgado was quoted as saying "It's the only way I have to claim my money back".
The nerve of this guy who broke the law by speeding and killed a young man and now wants to sue that young man’s parents. Iriondo's mom said it best when she said, "It's the final straw, a stab in the back". And that says it all.
