Now that information and footage of the movie “Cloverfield” is coming out the buzz has sort of drifted away from what the monster will look like to the movie being some kin to the 9/11 tragedy. All of this because there a scene in the movie that looks like the footage of people running down the street as the towers collapsed in the background.
Well, I’m here to tell you that one scene does not a movie make. Sure, from what I’ve seen of the scene it does remind you of that footage, but it also adds to the realism of the film. I mean what do you expect to see if you’re in that area and a fifty-foot monster is destroying buildings? People trying to get away, right?
People are always taking a small something and turning it into a big something. “Cloverfield is not a movie about 9/11, it’s about a big ass monster tearing up New York. And that says it all.
