I was approached about a few weeks ago to do a review on a product called Pinhole Glasses. I had never heard of these before so I went to the website to see what these things were all about. I just quickly skimmed through the site and learned these are glasses that can help with your eyesight no matter if you’re nearsighted or farsighted.
Well, my eyes are kind of bad and the offer for doing the review was for a free sample of these pinhole eyeglasses so I agreed to do the review. I was told to do an unbiased review that it could be positive or negative.
When the glasses came I was kind of taken aback. The pictures on the website are small so you really can’t tell what these glasses look like. I kind of thought they were like sunglasses instead I got these plastic glasses with black plastic in the lenses that has a bunch of little holes in them.
My first thought was, what the heck is this? Then I put them on and I thought this is going to be a bad review. I couldn’t see any thing because the holes were distracting me.
But then I thought I’ll try just concentrating on the object that I’m trying to see and WOW. Just by ignoring the holes I was able to see what I was looking clearly. As a matter of fact other than the holes I could see the object clearer that with my prescription glasses.
I let some other people try the glasses and got missed feelings. A couple of people couldn’t ignore the holes, but the ones that could were as amazed as I was by the things they could see that they couldn’t see before.
The fall backs are that the glasses don’t work well in low light situations and they also affect your peripheral vision so they shouldn’t worn when driving. Also I find that they become a little annoying after have them on for a while, but I do think the benefits outweigh all of that.
From what I gather from the website, these glasses can correct your vision and if can used to wearing them you may not have to keep paying for prescription glasses as your sight worsens. You can get more information about pinhole eyeglasses at the website. And that says it all.
