Why Mistakes Are Good

People always say, “I hate making mistakes”, but what they fail to realize is that mistakes are lessons learned. I have a friend that hates making mistakes so much they won’t do certain things for fear of making a mistake. There quote is, “I don’t want to make a mistake”. Is Hilary Clinton A Chameleon?

All the polls are showing that Hilary Clinton is the front-runner for the Democratic nominee for the Presidential election and that’s all well and good, but I have to stop and wonder about her chameleon like ways. It seems that she tries to blend into whatever situation she’s in.

Take her run for the Senate. She’s a native of Illinois who lived in Arkansas for years and ran for Senator of New York and won, which meant while running she had to adopt a New York mentality. In the first debates Hilary had the attitude of not attacking the other candidates, but in the last debate she was slamming them hard. She ahs even changed her over all out look of no mud slinging and is slinging mud all over the second democratic runner-up, Barack Obama.

Apparently Hilary is doing a good job as a New York State Senator, she was elected for a second term and she might even make a great President. However I would like to know who is the real Hilary Clinton and how far will she go with this blending into the surroundings thing. And that says it all.

Crazy News Monday; Purse Snatcher Gets The Finger

A woman in Gwinnett County had her finger torn off in a purse snatching incident. Besides the woman’s finger being torn off, the other strange thing is that it was a drive by purse snatching. Caesare Pinkins, 21 apparently drive up to this woman, grabbed her purse and stepped on the gas tearing not only the purse from the woman’s hand, but a finger as well.

This woman must have had one hell of a grip on that purse. It makes me wonder what she had in there that was so valuable. Unfortunately surgeons were unable to reattach the woman’s finger.

I’m not sure this woman had a chance to think to let go of the purse and just let the purse snatcher have it, it seems everything happened so fast. Pushing Life Out Of The Way

Do you ever make plans to do something with your life or work on some projects you’ve been wanting to do for a long time, but always find that life gets in the way? What I mean by that is, that something always comes up that you have to give priority. That happens to me all the time.

There are several projects that I want to work on that I’m sure would make some decent money, but life always gets in the way. I have to take care of the short-term needs rather than the long-term prospects, even though I feel the long-term prospects would be more lucrative in the long run. New TV Shows I love

This season of TV viewing has got some great new shows that I am absolutely loving. Let’s start with the “Bionic Woman”. The new way that they are presenting this show is great. I like the flawed Jamie Summers, who isn’t the goody two shoe of the old series. She’s open with her sexuality and that’s great.

Then you have “Journey Man”, which is kind of a rip off of “Quantum Leap”, but with a great twist that this guy gets to live his normal life. Well, as normal as it can be considering he never knows when he will be pulled back in time. The shocker this week was finding out that his ex-wife is originally from the past. I loved it.

Last, but certainly not least is “Life”, about a cop who was falsely imprisoned for12 years for a crime he didn’t commit. After his release and his successful lawsuit against the city, he is back on the force as a detective and a millionaire. He has an unusual why at going about solving cases that just seems to work. But unknown to his colleges he is also trying to solve the case that he was accused of committing.

These are the new shows that I love and unlike other shows that I have loved in the oast, I think these shows have very good chance of staying around for long time.And that says it all.

Crazy News Monday; Gas For Guns

Cleveland, Ohio has found away to easy the burden of high gas prices for it’s citizens and possibly cut down on crime by trading gas for guns. This deal was offered Saturday, at Cleveland's convention center to the first 450 people that showed up.

The city has had 119 homicides so far this year and about the same last year. My thought is that though they may get some guns off the street the criminals are still going to have guns even if they turn one or two in for the gas. I don’t really think that this trade is going to cut down on homicides.

I think harsher penalties is the only way to cut down the homicides. We might have to get medieval on their asses. If a person shoots somebody other than in self-defense don’t send them prison. Cut their shooting hand off. I bet you people will think twice about shooting another person then. And that says it all.
